This poster and prototype website mockup was made as a part of a school project, where the goal was to summerize the things we learned in the preceding graphic design and photoshop classes into a product and make a written report of the work flow process.
We were free to choose what the subject of the product was to be, within the confines of the overall theme; “a cultural event”. I chose to invent an exibition at ARoS in Ã…rhus to base the theme of my poster and website mockup on.
The technical specifications for the poster was a file for presentation on a projector at 72 ppi JPEG and a flattened PSD document sized 42*29.7 (A3) at 150 ppi fit for laser-printout - I had to take this into account when designing the content of the poster.
The mockup for the website was to be presented and handed in as a JPEG at 72 ppi at ratio 1:1 also fit for a projector presentation.
The photos used for the poster and the website mockup was shot by myself, apart from the bottom one on the mockup. For the logo-text and date on the poster i used a bauhaus-styled font, for the paragraph text on the mockup i used a sans-serif font to optimize screen readability.
This project gave me the opportunity to get more comfortable with Photoshop and the documentation of the work process.
